Privacy notice
Draft to be reviewed: this text is not legal advice and is not final.
Who decides how data is used
Data controller: the owner of the Flaiaway project, a natural person. Contact for any request: info@flaiaway.com. [TO COMPLETE: the owner’s full name. There is no VAT number or address to show.]
What data we process
On the site: browsing data and statistics (Google Analytics), only if you accept measurement cookies. If you send the beta tester form: email, full name, motivation, trip destination and period, language, nationality.
In the app and web app: your account (sign-in with an email code), the trips you create, your preferences and the data needed to plan them. [TO COMPLETE: final list.]
What we use it for and on what basis
To provide the service and answer your requests (performance of the requested service). To measure and improve the site (consent). To run the beta tester programme and send you its emails (consent). For security and against abuse (legitimate interest). [TO COMPLETE: check of legal bases.]
The data collected is also used in statistical form to improve the service. [TO COMPLETE: final text.]
Who we share it with
We use providers that process data on our behalf: Google (Analytics, Places and the Gemini model), Mapbox, DigitalOcean (servers), Travelpayouts and its partners (booking links), Resend (sending emails), RevenueCat and the app stores (when active). Some providers are outside the European Union: transfers use the safeguards required by law. [TO COMPLETE: list and safeguards.]
How long we keep it
[TO COMPLETE: retention periods for each category.] When you delete a trip, its PDF is removed; the trip plan remains in anonymous form and may be used to train the service’s future artificial intelligence.
Your rights
You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and portability of your data, and withdraw consent at any time, by writing to info@flaiaway.com. You may also contact your data protection authority.
